Southern Liguria features small inlets enclosed between mountains and the sea: Portovenere and the Cinque Terre villages, striking and untouched fishing villages in which man has conquered, with effort throughout centuries, space for dwellings and cultivation (terraced on the slopes of the mountains).
Local food includes both land and seafood ingredients and rich in spicy flavours of typical local herbs. In Portovenere, as in Levanto and in Sestri Levante it is possible to combine cooking lessons of typical Ligurian cuisine to the stay and to the tours of the territory.
